Scientists have succeeded in creating a chicken embryo having dinosaur like snout. This is seen as a evolutionary evidence of birds from dinosaurs.
The idea that birds evolved from dinosaurs has been raised since 19th century when the scientists discovered the fossil of an early bird Archaeopteryx. Archaeopteryx had wings and feathers like birds but it also looked similar with dinosaurs as they didn’t had beaks instead they had snout.
To understand this evolutionary changes, a research team of scientist has been probing in the molecular processes that make up a beak in chickens. Their main aim was to understand how the beak evolved from snout and they have succeeded also as they have managed to create chicken embryo with dinosaur like snout as a result of their probe.
